Locals and tourists alike can find plenty of ways to ring in the holiday season and create memories that will last a lifetime. #1 Christmas Ski Tree Lighting – December 4, 2024 | 5 PM Location: Elks Park The Telluride Ski Tree, sponsored by the Telluride Ski & Snowboard Club, is a unique 17-foot-tall holiday tree constructed entirely out of old skis, all generously donated by the local community. This creative and heartwarming tradition has become a beloved part of the holiday season in Telluride. Join locals and visitors alike as they gather at Elks Park to witness the magical moment when the Ski Tree is illuminated for the first time. After the tree lighting, stick around for a cozy bonfire, sip on free hot cocoa, and enjoy the warmth and camaraderie of the community.
